Arab-Israeli Wars

Starting a new project - the Arab-Israeli Wars. Had all ways wanted to game these battles and BattleFront's Fate of a Nation, and especially the new miniatures have gotten me started.

I picked up some Old Glory tanks and APCs which I painted up as Egyptians and Jordanians.  Still need to add to each and looking for the BF Israelis.  I really like the up-gunned Shermans.

THE CAMPAIGN CONTINUES:

TURNS 13 through 16:

Jormundar launches a raid in force to lay siege to the Masovian capital of Thrudvang.  The raiders escape the Masovian and Draakheeri relief forces, but give up the siege.

Jormundar with the Gargyln then invades Formoria in force capturing Tchernobog, Toschenko and the capital of Keris.  The Jormundarians hold off the relief of Keris by the Fomorians, but the later assault by the Dwaffen recaptures the city.  Jormundar invades the Dwaffenreich capturing Segara.

Xanthus and his demon/undead army captures Bog-a-hat.  However, the Dreadlord Araya is killed in second battle for the city after capturing Berengaria.

The Draakheeri launch a massive seaborne invasion of Jormundar along with assistance from the Dwaffen Griffenen raiders.

Historicon 2013

Devil's Den, Black Powder.  The Union held.  The game played out very similar to history.  The Alabama regiments advanced and were repelled, the Maine ran out of ammo and charged.  The Alabamans broke.

Walkers are from Gearkrieg. The American infantryman is Old Glory/Blue Moon.

The large tank is gearkrieg, and the small tankettes are from Reaper's CAV line with gearkrieg turrets.

 

This tank was built using two Blue Moon tanks, a Mark IV and a Mark V, and the turret is from Proxy models.
